Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This policy applies to PromoSetu, operated by Dipankar Deka (sole proprietor), [YOUR CITY], India. Contact for privacy questions: promosetulive@gmail.com.

2. What information we collect

• Account information: your name and email address (provided at signup).
• Payment references: the transaction reference number (UTR) you submit so we can verify your ₹49 payment. We do NOT receive or store your card numbers, bank login details, or UPI PIN — payments happen entirely inside your own UPI/bank app.
• Application content: the profile URL and message you submit when applying to an opportunity.
• Technical data: basic usage data such as session cookies required to keep you logged in.

3. How we use your information

• To create and manage your member account and activate your membership after payment verification;
• To show relevant payment status (pending / under review / approved);
• To review your opportunity applications on your behalf (applications are reviewed by PromoSetu administration);
• To contact you about your account, payment, or important platform notices by email;
• To prevent fraud, fake payments and abuse of the platform.

We do NOT sell your personal information.

4. Who can see your information

• Platform administration (us): payment verification and application review require us to see your name, email, UTR, and applications.
• Supabase: our database and authentication provider, which stores your data securely on our behalf.
• Brands: we do NOT automatically share your details with brands. Your application content (profile URL and message) is visible to platform administration only during review. Any contact with a brand happens under the application process described on the opportunity page.
• Investigators/law: where required by law or to prevent fraud.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account and payment reference records while your membership is active and for up to 2 years afterwards (for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes). You may request earlier deletion (see section 7), subject to legal record-keeping requirements.

6. Security

Data is stored in Supabase with encryption in transit and at rest. Member-only content (including the guide PDF) is served through short-lived secure links that require an active membership. Payment approval and role changes are restricted to authorised administrators and are logged.

7. Your rights

You may ask us to: give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account. Email promosetulive@gmail.com from your registered email address. We will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children

PromoSetu is not intended for users under 13 (for users under 18, parental consent is required to obtain membership).

9. Changes

If we change this policy, the effective date above will change. For material changes, we will also notify members by email.
